Our Story

We are Andrew and Logan McIntire, the father-son duo behind Battletown Beef Co. Cattle farming has been a part of our family for generations and we are happy to share our work with you.

Our cattle are raised without hormones or antibiotics and are grass-fed and grain-finished. Grain-finishing helps provide the nutrients necessary for our animals' well-being and provides a rich, marbled texture to our beef. On pasture, our cattle eat endophyte-free fescue grass, which also contributes to their overall nutrition.

Preservation of farmland is central to our operation. By utilizing rotational grazing practices, we are able to have our cattle feed on fresh grass. Another benefit is that the cattle to move around freely and be free from confined spaces. Soil health also improves as it is able to retain more moisture and build stronger root systems.
